Go Ye Into All The World

Matthew 28:18: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Luke 24:47: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Luke 8:38: Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying, 39 Return to thine own house, and shew how great things God hath done unto thee. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

How is it that believers are commanded to go into all the world but one man was commanded to go to just one house and one city? How can we go into all the world? Just one place at a time of Jesus* choosing. The first place He wants us to go will be a Biblical church that supports missionaries around the world. Our giving in a Biblical church will go to support missionaries around the world and our prayers for those missionaries will be answered around the world. If we are not going to a foreign land ourselves we can send financial support and pray for the people of many nations.

When I received Jesus I had no idea where He was going to send me but I knew that it would be somewhere of His choosing. In the 30 plus years since I was saved I have been a member of three Biblical churches in two different states that supported a total of about 40 missionaries around the world. Before I went to the first Biblical church I had no idea that my giving and prayers would help spread the gospel around the world. What joy it is when I hear of my prayers being answered in other nations of the world.

I believe that I have some readers who are not only unwilling to go into all the world with the gospel, but they are not even willing to go regularly to a local church. If they are not willing to go to a local church they will NEVER go into all the world either. Their giving and prayers will never go around the world. They will never have the joy of having their prayers answered in another nation. So, are you regularly attending and supporting a Biblical church? If you are not, you need to repent of that and find one. And even shut-ins can find someone to pray for.
